Maybe monster lasagne is good if you're Webber but nothing else's worth it. Everything else is overpriced especially dragon pies. The only two things here that are worth it are Waffles and Pumking cookies. You can buy crockpot foods here but honestly it's not worth it. Oh also seeds on the shelves can be used to make a bird cage easily. The best things that can be bought here are pine cones, Berry bushes and Dragon fruit seeds.

One of my favorite shops but it's really niche. Corn and pumpking for food and everything else is good for meatball incredients. This is one of the most useful shops in the Pig city as it allows you to buy a lots of things you can cook in the crockpot such as Banana's and ice for banana pops and sprinklers. Cloth will be used to make the Pith hat/Gas mask and the latter two is self explanatory. Now on to the other shops and what to buy and where. The ownership for the slanty shanty can be bought at the Townhall for 50 oincs but I'm pretty sure most of you know this by now. Now on to the more important steps after early gameįirst and foremost you need a place to live. And that's about it, loot the ruins and take the relics to the old pig with the brown coat (can be found at the academy at night) These things are not neccessary but highly reccomended as they will increase your take from the Pig Ruins: Fighting gear (armor and weapon, the better the armor the better the chances of comming out alive), disarming tools (makes it easier to clean rooms with blow dart traps in them, recipe 2 iron 2 reeds), lots of storage. These are the items you need for the ruins: Torch (and materials to make more torches), Hammer, Pickaxe, ballphine hammer. Oincs are essential trading currency in Don't starve acquired by various means but the most common and one of the highest paying as well is by collecting Ancient relics and selling them to the relicsman Pig. Iron is one I didn't include because it is found simply in it's own biome laying on the floor or by mined from Iron hulks or Gnat mounds. The way you find this is by going into caves and mining the stalagmites, finding it in the iron biome laying around or by chiseling ancient statues found around the world and in the Ruins. These mounds renew themselves overtime so you don't have to worry about rocks going scarce. Mining around 8 of these should sustain you with enough rocks for a while untile you need them again. These mounds give you around 5-6 rocks along with 1-2 iron and sometimes flint. While rocks are farely easy to obtain in Hamlet it might not be obvious to a new player that they can be obtained from Gnat Mounds. Flint is pretty easy to find as well since all you need to do is flip some stones slabs and with a good chance you can find enough for your basic tools. Wood can be found nearly everywhere as it is all around you. This is pretty self explanatory as these are the key ingredients in any Don't starve world but how do you obtain them in Hamlet is a different story. Now besides this you need to do a couple of things. On the first few days it should be pretty obvious that you grab your machete and start hacking grass and collecting twigs.
